You can't even imagine how unbearable it is in Baltimore this week ~ the pool looks refreshing ! Hope this post finds everyone well and happily unpacked.
the pool did not look swimmable when i was there! Much nicer now! how high is the wall to the right of it? Did your neighbor talk to you about building it taller/
The wall is about 6 ft tall, so you can't see over it but you can still hear the neighbors. Neil hasn't asked us to build it higher... actually we told him we were tearing down the tree that was giving both of us the most privacy. The tree kept shedding leaves into the pool and clogging the filter. We're going to plant some sort of palm tree in its place. But no - he hasn't said much about noise since we have been here.
I don't think it was actually about the noise--the funny thing was he took us to the end of your pool area and said 'stand here--see what i mean--see how you can see over the wall. . ." I"m guessing you do not often to to the farthest corner of that pool area and stand with your nose over the wal, but i guess it is a concern . . .
